Surveys
I like to run surveys! Many of my papers use rely on linked survey-administrative data where the survey data come from surveys I have developed and fielded with various coauthors.
Questionnaires from surveys I have run (in chronological order):
2016: Survey on Tax Filers' Beliefs [fielded in-person, for "Tax Refund Uncertainty: Evidence and Welfare Implications"]
2016: Follow-Up Survey of Tax Filers [fielded via phone, for "Tax Refund Uncertainty: Evidence and Welfare Implications"]
2021: Survey of Human Resource Managers [fielded online via the ifo Institute, for "Bargaining and Inequality in the Labor Market"]
2022: Survey of Full-Time Workers [fielded online via the IAB, used in "Bargaining and Inequality in the Labor Market", "Why Workers Stay: Pay, Beliefs, and Attachment", and "Firm Pay, Amenities, and Inequality"]
2024: Follow-Up Survey of Full-Time Workers [fielded online via the IAB, used in "Bargaining and Inequality in the Labor Market", "Why Workers Stay: Pay, Beliefs, and Attachment", and "Firm Pay, Amenities, and Inequality"]
Since 2020 I've included a lecture on surveys and experiments in my PhD labor class (offered roughly every other year). A current version of the lecture notes is available here.
