I am a labor and personnel economist.
Most of my work focuses on the relationship between workers' outside options and their labor market outcomes.
My work leverages administrative data, combined with a variety of experimental, quasi-experimental, and survey methods.
I am an assistant professor in UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business (Economic Analysis and Policy group) and Department of Economics (joint appointment). I received my Ph.D. from MIT in 2019.
